Following the indications of the state of alarm decreed by the Government last March 14 in relation to the COVID-19, we at Refugees Welcome are doing our best to stop the spread of the disease and return to a situation of normality soon.
Our activity does not stop during these days, the accompaniment to the flatmates and the diffusion of the Welcoming Culture are more necessary than ever. But we are modifying our functioning to adapt to the new context.
That is why all public activities have been stopped, suspended or postponed, technical staff will continue to do teleworking from their homes and all interviews and meetings will be done virtually or rescheduled on new dates. As far as volunteering is concerned, it continues to be committed and to contribute virtually and the local links of the active cohabitations maintain continuous contact with the asylum seekers and the houses to accompany any situation of exceptionality that may arise.
For any issue or question, we are still available on the usual phone numbers and emails.
Let’s take care of ourselves!
